“I believe that every person has a story and I strive to provide care that listens to, appreciates, and serves each individual’s story. I gained a true appreciation for the physical therapy profession, the knowledge and caring attitude of physical therapists, and their ability to improve the lives of individuals over the years through many personal injuries and bouts of pain. Our time spent together is a great opportunity to learn from one another and provide you with knowledge about your body and health that empowers you to live a healthier and more active life. I recognize that providing care for others and treating the human body is a privilege and I look forward to helping you reach any goals that you may have!
I earned my Bachelors in Neuroscience with honors from the University of Kentucky and my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University. Additionally, I am a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Over time, I have developed a passion for combining digital media, technology, and health. In my free time, I love spending time with friends and my golden retriever, exercising and running, watching sports and playing golf, reading and listening to podcasts, and creating digital media and art.”

4. Reduces Stress and Cortisol Levels
Stress is a major sleep disruptor. Research suggests that chiropractic care can help regulate the stress hormone cortisol, leading to a calmer, more relaxed state that supports falling asleep faster.⁵
Sleep Hygiene Tips — Backed by Science
To maximize the benefits of chiropractic care, pair it with these proven sleep hygiene practices:
Keep a Consistent Sleep Schedule
Go to bed and wake up at the same time each day, even on weekends. This helps regulate your body’s circadian rhythm.⁶
Create a Restful Sleep Environment
Keep your room dark, cool, and quiet. Use blackout curtains and turn off electronic devices at least 30–60 minutes before bed.
Avoid Stimulants Late in the Day
Caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals before bed can interfere with your ability to fall and stay asleep.
Practice a Wind-Down Routine
Whether it’s reading, meditating, or stretching, calming activities help signal to your brain that it’s time to sleep.
Use Your Bed for Sleep Only
Avoid watching TV or working in bed — this helps your brain associate your bed strictly with rest.
When to Seek Professional Help
If poor sleep persists despite healthy habits, there may be an underlying issue — physical discomfort, stress, or even sleep apnea. Chiropractic care can identify and address musculoskeletal causes of sleep disruption, and we’ll gladly refer you to other sleep specialists if necessary.
