Last week we discussed the benefits of our nutritional cleansing system and I promised to tell my story.
About 12 years ago I went to a seminar at Duke Medical University on stress. We spent time on physical and mental stress but the last day focused on chemical stress.
It was run by their dean of Neurobiology: Dr. Bruce Lipton.
On that day he shared over 1,000 studies showing the causation between chemicals in our food, water, and air. These toxins which are in most our food and unfiltered water and certainly in Columbus air are linked to rising rates of breast, prostate, blood, pancreas, liver and lung cancers; obesity; Type II diabetes; auto-immune diseases and many others.
At the end of the seminar, he told us it is imperative to use an ongoing cleanse program with our patients.
With a friend who has a PhD. in nutrition and is a naturopath, we spent one-year investigating programs.
In January 2008, we introduced the new system we discovered.
Over 40 patients joined me and some of our staff.
The results were exceptional. All our patients lost weight, had increased energy and clarity, decreased aches and improved mood.
My own experience mirrored theirs.
I was skeptical at first because I have been on dozens and dozens of diets (always losing but re-gaining even more) ever since I have been 5 years old (my mom had me on Atkins when I was 7).
But this program seemed different, was fairly simple and “doable”.
This program has changed my life.
I lost 30 pounds and have kept it off for 11 years.
My energy improved. I no longer felt foggy in the afternoon.
My mood improved and my achiness decreased.
Much to my amazement, my life long sugar cravings disappeared to the point that most sweets sound gross.
This system has made my life easier. I don’t struggle to prepare a healthy lunch every day. I’m not too busy in the evening to get to the grocery or make dinner. I always have a quick healthy choice available at home.
When I go on vacation or overindulge and gain a little, I can do a cleanse day or two and am right back on track… weight loss, my cravings go down, and my energy up.
