Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for chiropractors and massage therapists here at WOW.

The reason is pretty obvious.

People have been indoors all winter here in Ohio. Not only are we anxious to get outside and enjoy the spring air, flowers, and blue sky, we also love to start cleaning up our yards and taking on new projects.

This is great. Getting fresh air and moving your body is soooo good for you. Gardening, raking, weeding, trimming, mowing, edging… there is so much to do…

It is so much fun to be outside!

Until it’s not…

We also want to build new decks, fix old decks, move and put in paver patios, add a shed, dig up old plants, put in new plants, and all kinds of highly physical things that can wreak havoc on your back if you’re not careful!

Be smart. The people we see the most are those who are not on a regular schedule of getting their spine adjusted.

When you begin to do physical labor, if your spine is not in alignment, you are much more likely to be injured. It doesn’t take much to get injured if your body isn’t in shape. And usually, it’s pretty painful and can put you out of commission for a bit.

While some people don’t like to take the time to come in when they are not in severe pain, it’s actually a way to SAVE time, as it’s much more difficult and timely to repair a torn muscle or pinched nerve than it is to stay in alignment with a few visits a month.

If you haven’t been in for a while, do yourself a favor and get your body in alignment before you go out and tackle any difficult physical labor! You’ll also be in much better shape to enjoy fun activities like biking, hiking, kayaking, running, and walking.

So you get the idea, right? Get your spine adjusted before you start the big projects outside.

Contact us and come on in! We are here to help you get the most out of life as you can:)
